    [18 Sep 2017] The Swedish government has decided to invest one billion kronor in the transition to an electrified transport sector. An important part of the initiative is a test bed in Gothenburg. Research institute Rise and Chalmers University of Technology will jointly build and own the facility.

    [4 Jul 2017] Refrigeration stands for almost 50% of the total energy consumption in supermarkets. The Chalmers and Climate-KIC supported start-up ChillServices seek to change that by saving around 3 to 5 % with easy implemented measures, and the researchers are convinced that 30-40% efficiency improvement is within reach.

    [4 Jul 2017] Chalmers has a strong profile in relation to the sustainability issues that Sweden and other wealthy countries are facing, but there is huge potential for development from a global perspective. The end of May marked the starting point for Chalmers-wide work towards the UN's global development goals, with a focus on the third world.
