Global Sustainable Futures online conference 2021, 9-12 CET on November 16th 2021.
We invite researchers and teachers at Chalmers and University of Gothenburg and their partners in low- and middle-income countries to present abstracts, discuss and share experiences of university collaborations.
The conference includes an introduction by Magdalena Eriksson, platform leader Global Sustainable Futures, keynote presentations and four parallel sessions.
Keynote 1 “Towards Collaborative Futures: The need to reconnect in a post-pandemic world” by Swati Parashar, Professor at the School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg
Keynote 2 "Shifting priorities or more of the same, what lessons on African research training are valid in a (post) pandemic world? Perspectives from the Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa, CARTA" by Sharon Fonn, visiting professor, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg
The parallel sessions that are designed to be wide and inclusive to help promote multidisciplinary exchange:
1. Food systems, nutrition and health
2. Energy, innovation and decent work
3. Transforming urban lives
4. Teaching and capacity development in higher education
