The International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) . At the moment, a large group of experts from all over the world review the draft to the Sixth Assessment Report to ensure that the report really cover new and the most relevant research in the wide range of areas.
The final report will form the basis for the first “Global Stocktake” in 2023 where all countries will report on their Agenda 2030 progress.
Jan Riise at GMV Gothenburg Centre for Sustainable Development is one of the many reviewers:
“I am commenting on the urban section and the summary for policymakers (SPM),” says Jan and adds that the summary is particularly important to decisionmakers and politicians.
Until midnight 7 March (CET) it is possible to register as an expert for parts of the report; the comments must be delivered to IPCC on 14 March at the latest.
