Research profile seminar
Addressing sustainability is becoming ever more important in society and for funding organisations. What does it take to succeed with an inter/transdisciplinary research proposal that supports a sustainable transition of society? And what support is needed for researchers and research groups to be successful? These are some of the questions that we aim to discuss at this Researchers Roundtable for Sustainability - Inter/transdisciplinary research for sustainable transitions. The meeting is organized by Gothenburg Centre for Sustainable Development in collaboration with the research and innovation offices at Chalmers and the University of Gothenburg.
Gothenburg Centre for Sustainable Development, GMV is currently conducting an analysis as to why no Gothenburg researchers were successful (as PI) in the Formas-call "Realising the global sustainable development goals". Despite high interest in the call and a relatively large number of applications from our two universities (17 percent of all applications were from Gothenburg), none of these were funded.
At this Researchers Roundtable for Sustainability you will learn more about some of the results of the analysis and listen to some reflections from a panel of researchers and research advisors/evaluators. You are also invited to take part in a roundtable discussion regarding some of the most interesting results of the study.
