Erik Wallin

Erik Wallin is working as a policy analyst at the Gothenburg Centre for Sustainable Development (GMV) in Gothenburg, where he forms part of Sida’s Helpdesk for environment and climate change. Erik has more than 20 years of professional experience of international development cooperation, not least in the areas of environment and climate change. Erik Wallin has worked and lived in both South-East Asia and in Africa and has experience from working with Eastern Europe and Western Balkans. Erik has held several positions in the area of environment and climate change; advisor, programme manager and consultant. Erik has extensive expertise from supporting the integration of environmental and climate change issues in development cooperation, not least on local level. Erik also possess good knowledge on international climate financing, water and oceans.
