Driven by the Swedish Higher Education Act introduced in 2006, the University of Gothenburg has been striving to strengthen its profile in terms of embracing sustainability and sustainable development in its educational and operational activities.
As part of this endeavor, Gothenburg Centre for Sustainable Development have been organizing a series of discussion forums. The forums are aimed at creating a platform for students, staff and community at University of Gothenburg and Chalmers to come together and have a dialogue, share experiences and come up with strategies on how to systematically work and integrate sustainability and sustainable development into educational, research and other practices within the university and the society at large. Each forum focuses on specific theme.
